Well, I’m sure when I got this project from my teacher, I was afraid to start because it was my first project. I thought this project would be difficult for me. So I was a little scared. But despite these worries and fears, 2 weeks ago I decided to start this project. Because this project was important to me. Overall, this project was a new experience and study for me. First, I started by looking for the best candidate who was suitable for the project. My chosen candidate is my cousin Jamshid. I told him about this project. At first he refused. When I asked why, he said he didn’t have time, he had to prepare for the exam but I told him that this project was very important to me and I needed his help and he finally agreed. After that, I started watching him. During the project, I received the necessary and additional information for myself from my teacher, classmates, Internet sites, library, etc. I would like to give full information about my chosen candidate. His full name is Mukumjanov Jamshidbek. He is not currently a student, but he has attended 20 universities abroad. He is a very talented, curious and cheerful guy. Jamshid took the IELTS exam this summer and scored 6.5 on it. Now she is studying programming based on her additional self-interest, and in the meantime is also taking English language courses. I watched it in these English course classes. As a result of my observations, I learned that he is a good learner but cannot explain the information and knowledge he has to others. I told him that he needed to believe in himself, that he had the ability to explain well to others, and decided to help him. We started studying together. First I tell him what tasks he should do and then he teaches me how to do those tasks. At first he found it difficult to teach me these tasks. Not because he didn’t know, but simply because he couldn’t explain the information he had to others well. Then slowly he did it too. Our first lesson was boring and complicated. However, in later lessons, he began to explain more clearly and made his lessons more interesting as well. I also learned that he was more passive in his English classes than his peers, and I told him to be active in the classes. As I expected, he also began to be active. After two weeks of observation and study, I interviewed Jamshid. That is, I asked him my own questions, which I had prepared in advance, and he answered one by one. In the interview, I asked her about her studies, future plans, and many other useful and interesting questions. He also responded very well. After the interview, I wrote the script for the interview. I began to figure out what mistakes he had made in the conversation and what flaws he had. I think this project was not only beneficial for me, but also for Jamshid.

INTERVIEW SCRIPT

Interview her/him about Language Learning experience

Interviewer:Hello.Let’s start our conversation with you.

Jamshid: Okay.

Interviewer: Can you introduce yourself ?

Jamshid:Sure my name is Jamshid Mukumjonov I’m 18. I’m a software engineer and I create web applications.

Interviewer: Yeah ok. Which university are you currently studying at?

Jamshid: Currently I am not a student I mean I took a gap year it means I don’t start my studies yet

And but I already got accepted over 20 universities all over the world. Some of them located in the USA, Australia and Europe as well.

Interviewer: Oh good! How many languages do you know?

Jamshid: I know 3 languages such as English, russian and Uzbek.

Interviewer: hmm. Okay.Who caused you to learn this language ?

Jamshid: I can’t remember who caused but I can say that my brother helped while I am learning these languages.

Interviewer:What is your main goal in learning this language ?

Jamshid: To be honest my purpose for learning english is study abroad and for exploring new opportunities.

Interviewer: Ok.What’s the best way to learn a foreign language?

Jamshid: Best way of learning new language is practicing, more you practice more you gain knowledge.

Interviewer: Ok.How can the internet be a helpful tool when learning a foreign language?

Jamshid Internet is very helpful for learning new language while I am learning english I used internet for listening podcasts and reading posts.

Interviewer: Ok.Do you think that you know English perfectly ?

Jamshid: frankly speaking no I don’t think that I know English perfectly because It is difficult to be perfect on something for example some of us don’t know our native Uzbek language perfect.

Interviewer: Ok.How long have you been learning english?

Jamshid: If I’m not mistaken I am learning English for 3 or 4 years.

Interviewer:Do you prefer learning languages in a class or induvidually?

Jamshid: Both of them because both of them are useful at the beginning when I started learning english I attended extra classes but right now I am learning individual.

Interviewer: What are your favourite language learning materials?

Jamshid: I have so many favorite materials for example: cambridge, vershagina, murphy and so on.

Interviewer: What advice can you give to new language learners?

Jamshid: My advice is about trusting advertisements some of out friends come to us and say oh

Jamshid look at this they tech me in 3 months and after that I can get IELTS 6.5 easily. That’s totally wrong learning something new takes to much time and you have to be ready if you want to start something new.

OBSERVATION FORM ANALYSIS

Analyse Learners’ learning habits in and out of class
When we analyze the learner’s mastery in class and outside of class. I think he is a very good student. He is especially eager to learn what he doesn’t know and is always working on himself, trying to grow. Attends all classes and always prepares assignments on time. He also became more active in class. During the lesson, the teacher uses modern techniques very effectively and can keep his students interested in the lesson. I told her teacher to be more attentive to her students. Jamshid practices writing more essays outside of class. I think he wants to raise his level from IELTS. Jamshid prefers individual engagement to group learning. One of his most interesting habits in language learning is that he sees a lot of music and movies in English. This increases his ability to listening and speaking. This helps to increase the level, especially in the IELTS exam.

ERROR ANALYSIS

Throughout the project, I make important points in writing, speaking, and technically to avoid mistakes. In the written form of this project, the word “interesting” is written as “interestinh” instead. Also, again the same mistake only the word “beneficial” written here with the letters substituted became “banefcial”. Again there are some technical errors. For example, during the video, a sound of laughter was heard from outside, which distracted the reader.
