My typical day is quite busy; it begins at 6 o’clock in the morning when I wake up. When my alarm goes off, I turn it off, get up and make my bed. Then I take a shower, brush my teeth and do my morning workout

My first computer

My first experience with a computer wasn’t the greatest. The year was 2009; I was in fifth grade and had just gotten the first major assignment of the school year. The assignment was to right a short essay about the things we accomplished over the summer and the goals we would set for the new school year. The assignment didn’t seem very hard but there was a catch to the assignment. The essay had to be at least five hundred words and it also had to be typed. This added factor to the assignment was vary difficult to me because I had just moved from the Bahamas and had only seen the computers that school had and had every little experience on them.

So, excited about the assignment, yet nervous, I came home and got right to work, the essay took me no time to write it “in pencil”. After I finished writing I eagerly awaited my father to come home to begin typing my essay. My father came home and I told him about the assignment and the fact that I had to type it. He was ecstatic and overjoyed to hear that I had to use the computer to do my essay, my father is a firm believer in technology, he said that computers are the way of the future and that in a couple of years there would be a home computer in every house. He quickly took me to our house computer and showed me the writing program called Microsoft Word and left the room to type my essay.
In conclusion my first experience with computers wasn’t the greatest but since then I have grown to love computers. My father was right! Computers are the way of the future and a wise person should become very comfortable with computers. The more technology evolves the more computers will become intertwined in our day to day lives. Computers are one of the greatest invention ever made and has evolved a lot over the years. When first invented, a computer took up a whole room and now it barely takes up a corner of a room. Eventually pen and paper well become obsolete and every third grade student will have a computer in his/her desk.
