Muqbil Toshota
I
Once upon a time. In the past, there was a tyrant king in Bukhara. He had a beautiful daughter and her name was Mehrinigor. The light of her face dimmed the moon. Mehrinigor was a beautiful, strong and enthusiastic girl. She spent most of his time was hunting. One day, Mehrinigor went hunting with eight hundred young men and walked to a mountain. The mountain was very high and one side was thick. A beautiful deer came out of one side of the mountain. She looked at the young men and said, "Take this deer in the middle, we must catch it alive and I will punish this man whoever the deer passes by." Eight hundred men circled in all directions and threw their bows at the deer. The deer passed by the princess. The princess was very angry and went to the deer's back. She was shot and did not hit. As the princess was going, a tiger came out of the edge of the mountain and ran to the princess. the horse leaned back in fear of the tiger, the princess fell from the horse. Just two steps before the tiger reached the princess, a nearby shepherd struck a stone on the tiger's forehead. The tiger's head was split. The shepherd came running and got the princess up. The princess was embarrassed and said nothing. At that time, eight hundred young men were arrived and surprised to see the princess in this condition. The poor shepherd did not know what to do. The princess immediately mounted the horse and gave her ring to the shepherd. When the princess returned to the palace, she did not go hunting for some time.
II
Now hear from the shepherd. The poor shepherd barely went home after losing his princess. He became very sick. The shepherd was the favorite son of the mountain people and his name was Muqbil. The people of the mountains were amazed that Muqbil suddenly became ill. Muqbil looked after the herds of the mountain people and protected them from predators. The shepherd would beat any beast with a single stone. The predators were afraid of Muqbil and would not go near the mountain people to the pastures where the herds were kept. After Muqbil became ill, predators began to attack the property of the mountain people. Muqbil Toshotar had an old father and mother. They were crying because of Muqbil's illness. The people of the mountains used to come to see Muqbil every day. There was an old wise man among them. One day he asked Muqbil:
- My son, your disease is not a disease, it is a disease of love. Tell me, where did this pain come from? Who are you in love with?
There were tears in the shepherd's eyes and he said: "Father, what are you asking?" My pain is like an incurable pain. Then the old man said again: my son, tell me about your heartache. If the girl you love is the moon in the sky, we will take it. The shepherd said one by one that he had seen the princess and given her a ring.
III
Knowing that the old man was in love, he told this secret to the mountain people: “Our Muqbil Toshotar fell in love with the princess Mehrinigor. Now we have to find a way to do it, otherwise Muqbil's pain will get worse,” he said. The people of the mountain thought and said, "The king will not give his daughter to Muqbil." Then one of them said: “In any case, we will try to send people, if they give, this is good. If they don’t give, they will show other measures. We will either grant the request or we will incur the wrath of the king. The wise old man followed a few men and went to the king's daughter as a matchmaker. The king looked at them and said: "Well, what are your complaints?"
The old man explained everything and then said: "King, we have come to enslave you."
The king was furious and said, "You fools, have you come to my daughter as a matchmaker?" What kind of honor is this, or do you ignore me? He imprisoned the guards. Then he turned to his army and said: 'Go and get the property of the desert. Catch Muqbil alive!
The armies robbed the poperty of all mountain people and persecuted them. Muqbil's father told his son everything. Then Muqbil said, "Have the poor people been in this situation for me yet?" He saw that the king's army was still oppressing the people. Muqbil immediately began to fight them. He destroyed a number of troops. The rest run away to the palace. They went and complained to the king: “King of the world, Muqbil was a very strong young man. If he punched anyone, he would kill him without hesitation. Several soldiers were killed, and we escaped to your palace. The king suffocated, gathered his whole army and became the head of the army.
IV
Muqbil stood at a distance with a stone and hit the heads of the troops. After seeing that he could not come to Muqbil, the king sent him a letter: “O brave young man! I agree to give my daughter to you. But there is one condition: you lead four tigers in both hands. If you fulfill this condition, my daughter is yours.”
Muqbil accepted the condition, but he demanded that the king release the innocent prisoners. The king accepted the request and released the prisoners. With the consent of the people of Mountain, he went alone in search of a tiger. Gradually, he reached a thicket. He saw a tiger sleeping in the reeds. He wasted no time in choking. The tiger got up and went to fight with Muqbil. Muqbil strangled the tiger tightly, played with it like a cat, and hit the ground once or twice. When the tiger became confused, he took a drug, made it unconscious and tied with a chain to the tree. As he walked, he came upon another mountain, where he came across another tiger. He took it and fell on it: he tied it with a chain to a large tree. In this way, he caught and tied eight tigers. Then he gathered them all together, brought them to their senses one by one, kicked them and threatened them. The tigers shook their heads in fear and trembled. Muqbil led the eight tigers on his way and in the evening of the seventh day he reached the village. The people of the village were very happy to see Muqbil coming safely with the booty.
V
Early in the morning, Muqbil took eight tigers in his hand and went to the royal palace. "Muqbil was fulfilling the conditions and leading the eight tigers," he said. As soon as people saw him, they began to flee. The Servants brought the news to the king. The king was panicked and said, "I thought he was going to die but he got alive." "Bravo, young man, bravo!” You have fulfilled my condition. Now take the tigers in your hands to the mountains and strip the skin off them there. Once you have done this, I have one more condition. My condition is that you cut off Hotamtoy's head and brought to me. He has a good horse, and you can bring it. Then I will give you my daughter. Muqbil did not like the fact that the king did not keep his promise. Muqbil thought to himself, “Perhaps Hotam is a robber who oppresses the people. Otherwise, why does the king need his head? Well, let me put the second condition in place. Maybe the people will be saved from oppression.” Then Muqbil said goodbye to his friends in the village and went to fetch Hotam's horse. Muqbil took a picture of a Qalandar and set out on a journey. At the end of four months, he reached the city of Hotamtoy.
VI
As he was thinking, "I'm going somewhere tonight," he saw a man in his forties washing his horse by the big river. Muqbil asked him:
- Is Hotam in the city or has he gone somewhere? He asked. The owner of the fire replied:
" He is in the city." What are you going to do, boy”. You look like a stranger. Be a guest of ours today, you will go to Hotamtoy tomorrow. Muqbil said to himself, "It's the same thing," and went to the man's house. The owner of the house welcomed Muqbil. When it was midnight, the man asked Muqbil, "Good boy, what were you doing in Hotamtoy?"
- "Yes, I had a job to do." Do you know him? What kind of person?
"Yes, I know Hotam, he will be the mayor of this city. However, he will not sit on the throne like other kings, he will walk among the people. What did you do with him? The man asked again. At that moment, Muqbil was in a very awkward position and silent for a while. He thought to himself, "If he walks among the people and does not harm the people, he is not a bad person." Then he said: “I was very surprised. By the order of the king of our country, I came to take Hotam's head. Judging by your words, Hotam looks very brave. How can I be with him on the field now?
The man asked Muqbil, "What did Hotam do to you?" He asked.
"He didn't hurt me," said Muqbil. He then explained one by one why he had come to kill Hotam.
"Have a good night," said the man. "I'll take you to Hotam early."
VII
Muqbil thanked the man and went to sleep. In the morning, after breakfast, Muqbil said, "Show me Hotam's house." The owner: "I'll be fine."I killed the horse that the king said I had nothing else in my basket, so I killed it yesterday and gave it to you. You are a young man in love, let not a single be empty for you, let a thousand be sacrificed, - told to Muqbil, bowing down and shaking his head. Muqbil saw Hotam's bravery and burst into tears. Then he said: “No! Let the hand that cuts off your head be cut off! If the king does not give his daughter, let him give her away. I am a victim of a sahih like you! When Hotam had a son, he looked at his father and said: “The guest is right. However, as soon as you give up your head, you will not be satisfied with the third condition: "This head is not Hotam's." Then to Muqbil: "Let my father go with you, and if my father needs a needy man like you, I will agree from a thousand to a thousand," he said.
Hotam agreed with his son and said: Now I have reached my goal.
Not knowing what to do, Muqbil was helpless and set off with Hotam. They arrived in Bukhara a few days later. Muqbil threw Hotam out and entered the palace himself. When the king saw Muqbil, he said, "Have you brought Hotam's horse with you?" He asked.
VIII
"Hotam was a generous young man, and without knowing it, I went to his house and stayed as a guest." There was nothing in his home, so he killed his horse and invited a guest. Knowing my condition, he put his head to the sword. But I brought him alive, not the head of such a brave and generous man. The king said, "Here is Hotam himself!" He shouted. Muqbil asked the king for permission to lead Hotam. The king nodded in agreement. Muqbil made Hotam face the king. Hotam greeted the king. The king's complexion faded and his body trembled. Then Hotham turned to the king and said, "I am the Hotam you have asked."
The king looked at Muqbil and said, "I told you, bring me the head of Hotam. You brought it alive,’ said Hotam.
"I gave my head to this guy in my country, but he didn't like it."Thus came with him. Here, please, cut off my head and help this poor man.” The king ordered Hotam to die. When the executioner took Hotam away, Muqbil could not bear it: he punched the executioner in the face, and then angrily said to the king, "How foolish you are!" If you kill such an innocent, brave, noble young man, don't give up your daughter! If what you think is murder, kill me instead of Hotam. The king suffocated and said to Muqbil, "Am I afraid of you if I kill you?" He summoned the executioner and ordered Muqbil to die. At that moment, Mehrinigor ran out from inside and threw himself at Muqbil. The king was angry and said, "Kill him!" He ordered. Then Hotam: "O treacherous king, you have no trace of mercy, you are worse than any beast of prey!" He ran and attacked the king. The king's sword was sharpened against him and Hotam grabbed the king's sword and struck him in the face. The king has fallen from his throne. Hotam looked at Muqbil and said, "Sit on the throne, young man." The people beat and killed the tyrant king and the people entrusted the inquiry to Muqbil. Later, Hotam himself took Mehrinigor to Muqbil with his wedding performances. The people began to live in peace and prosperity.
Thus, Muqbil Tashatar and Mehrinigor both achieved their goal.
