Multimedia in our life

Multimedia is derived from two words ‘Multi and medium’. It is defined as multiple media that can be used to deliver information digitally. Multimedia is a field with a computer-controlled combination of text, animation, graphics, audio, video, images and other forms of media. It represents, stores and transmits all information digitally. It also includes interactive elements such as voice command, mouse manipulation, text entry, touch screen, video capture, or live participation of the user.

• Multimedia has become an enormous strength in today’s world of technology. The influence of multimedia can see in every aspect of human life. Some important uses of multimedia are discussed below:
• Business
• Applications of multimedia in business are presentation, training, marketing, advertising, product demos, networked communication, etc. With the use of multimedia presentations, the audience can easily understand a concept. It provides an effective and efficient way to grab the attention of the visitors and share information about various products easily. It is also used in business marketing to persuade customers to buy the products.

• Now many schools are using multimedia in teaching. That can bought teaching and studying to the next level. In this at the schools are encouraging teachers to use multimedia in line with their teaching to create an interest for children. This allows the body absorb and retain information more easily associate, if they can stimulate all kinds of information. Further, using multimedia can help address the needs of students with varying learning styles. This also can make technology to improve teaching and learning the practical possibilities is endless, but the learning curve of software and hardware is shrinking. Best of this entire multimedia projects can provide a means of actively engaging students in the learning process. For examples, students can work in groups to create a digital video project. Projects this usually just only attract students to far more personal than writing a paper, even though they may actually work harder in the video project.

• That all the things are affect in my daily life because computer and internet I have to use everyday for my studying ,email to someone ,read some news about teachnology,world news,my county news ,music (sometime I download from internet ,sometime I listening online) and etc… Music,for me music is very important because everyday I have to use train and my car ,on my car before go someway I always tuen on music because music can make for me relaxation of my mind and my body as well and another thing is that on train I need the music for relaxation of my mind and my body too.In my daily life if without music ,I can be die.That affect is not for only me ,everybody can be happen.Is it is? Television ,that is important again for knowledge ,studying on television ,watching online movie(satellite )and dvd player.Mobile phone (mobile drive) , everybody have to use mobile drive everyday for using make a call to other person, user’s context, personal schedule, diary, short messages, photos, and videos. So mobile phone is important for our daily life. Game is a part of multimedia and game can make for us to relexion and many of interesting thing.Study online ,that is importent for student because .Otherwise everybody who cannot study at school ,I mean the person who already in work place ,so they don’t have a time ,they can learn from online with internet or television or radio or music player.So study online is very important for everybody. All of that thing are affect in impact of multimedia in our daily life. The key is to use multimedia effectively, not just for entertainment. It is important to note that sometimes traditional teaching methods work best. At other times, multimedia can aid in the teaching process. Software, that is very important for computer user because for the computer if don’t has a software ,it cannot run anymore. Is it is? Flash drive ,flash drive somebody call memoary stick is very important for me because I’m student and I always do assiment with my computer .So all of my data I always has to save in flash drive .If I don’t have flash drive where I have to put my important data.Not only for me but also for everybody ,flash drive is very important for us.

• Multimedia now from the gardening, cooking, home design, remodelling and repair to genealogy software is entered the home. Maybe in Malaysia only youngsters use multimedia more than elderly people, but in overseas elderly people are also very keen in learning about this. Finally, most of the multimedia project will reach through the family TV or monitor, built-in interactive input. Either in the old East-West Women Network TV or high-definition set user. After that, home consumers can use own computer to watch movie such as CD-ROM or DVD driver. We want set-up a player that hooks up to television such as Nintendo, X-box or PlayStation machine. Therefore, have multimedia at home so we not so boring at home.
