International standards are adopted in the form of state standards of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, in the state language and in one of the original
languages of the standard. Adoption of international standards in the Republic
in the form of state standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out as
follows:
- IDT abbreviated, exactly similar to international standards;
- MOD modified relative to the international standard, abbreviated;
- NEQ is not equivalent to the abbreviated international standards.
Technical committees on standardization of work on preparation for
acceptance of the international standards as the state standards of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, in their absence - the Uzbek institute of standards of
the Uzbek agency of technical regulation (further - Institute is called) by
contract.
If the international standard adopted in the Republic of Uzbekistan
contains references to standards that are not accepted as state standards,
their adoption should be carried out simultaneously. When working on the
simultaneous adoption of a reference international standard, the importance of
the reference international standard, which is closely related to the adopted
international standard and ensures that its requirements are met, should be
taken into account.
The state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan is considered to be
exactly similar to international standards in the following cases:
- The state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan is identical in terms of
technical structure, structure and content;
- The state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan is similar in technical
composition, but it can be amended.

69
The state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan is considered modified
to the international standard with the following conditions:
- including identified and explained technical deviations;
- reflects the structure of an international standard (international
document) that has been identified and explained and that the structure of both
standards can be modified only if a simple comparison is possible
- in the absence of state standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the
form of normative references that can replace references to international
standards - the content of the international standard (its sections, subsections,
clauses, subsections, appendices) to be referenced instead of each reference
) an alternative substitute rule is given;
- the text of the applicable international standard contains references to
other international standards adopted as identical or modified state standards
- in the preparation of the draft amended standard uses references to the
harmonized state standards instead of references to international standards.
In the text of the modified standard, instead of a reference to an
international standard, it is allowed to refer to a state standard that applies to
the same standardization object (product, process or service) but is not in line
with the reference international standards.
When adopting a state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan modified
in accordance with an international standard, the identification number of the
international standard shall not be included in the serial number. The number
of the modified international standard is written on the title page.
The state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan is non-equivalent to the
international standard under the following conditions:
- containing unidentified and unexplained technical deviations;
- unidentified and unexplained changes in the structure that do not provide
a simple comparison with international standards;
- contains a small part of the requirements of the international standard
(in terms of quantity and / or significance).
When adopting a state standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan that is not
equivalent to an international standard, the identification number of the
international standard shall not be included in the serial number. The number
of the non-equivalent international standard is written on the title page.
Adoption of regional standards in the Republic is carried out by direct
acceptance of the standard identification number in the state language and in
one of the original languages of the standard.
The standards adopted by the Interstate Council on Standardization
Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independent States shall
be adopted in accordance with the rules of the Interstate Council on
Standardization.

70
If the accepted regional or interstate standards contain references to other
international, regional or interstate standards not accepted in the republic, their
simultaneous adoption should be taken.
When working on the simultaneous adoption of international, regional or
interstate standards, first of all take into account the importance of adopting
reference standards that are closely related to the adopted regional or
interstate standard and ensure that their requirements are met. need to get.
Adoption of standards of foreign countries. Adoption of foreign standards
in the Republic is carried out by direct application in the state language and in
one of the original languages of the standard, while maintaining the
identification number of the standard in accordance with the agreements and /
or agreements concluded with these countries.
The consent to the application of the standards of these countries
obtained from the competent authorities of foreign countries is the basis for the
adoption of foreign standards in the Republic. If the adopted foreign standard
contains references to other Standards not adopted in the Republic, work
should be done on their simultaneous adoption. In the process of simultaneous
adoption of the Referred Standards, it is important to take into account, first of
all, the importance of adopting the Referred Standards, which are closely
related to the standards of the host country and ensure that their requirements
are met.
No later than five days after receipt of the application to the Uzbek Agency
for Technical Regulation on the adoption of standards, the Uzbek Agency for
Technical Regulation shall approve the application of these standards to the
competent authorities that have adopted them. sends a request to retrieve.
Reconciliation of the adopted Standards with the stakeholders is carried
