Introduction 
In some Contribute [1, 2], a light-optical method was presented, which operates by light 
transmission and allows information to pore moisture content, the pore radius distribution and pore 
connectivity. The aim of this study was to investigate the 
moisture content of a screed and a mortar during the setting 
and hardening with light-optical moisture sensors, in order to 
compare the moisture content of the course in various 
construction materials by means of optical measurement 
method for long periods and observe. The advantage of the 
new light-optical moisture sensor is the integration of light 
source and receiver in a compact, rugged enclosure and in the 
independence of the measurement of the salinity of the pore 
solution and the temperature the sample. As is known, 
electrical conductivity measurements are at higher Salt unable 
to give moisture quantitative diagnostic results, since the salt 
concentration affects the resistance of the solution 
significantly. The optical measuring method does not require

corrosion metal electrodes and includes a measurement result falsifying water reduction (electrolysis) 
of [3]. Figure 1 shows (in the middle) a LOF sensor with electrical wires (right) and a commercial 
multimeter (left). In the laboratory, the values of each sensor can be calibrated with different moisture 
penetration. The calibration was performed with deionized water. Upon evaporation of the PBW used 
was set at room temperature to a certain moisture penetration, and then checked gravimetrically.
