This part of the ELP is designed for you to identify your current language skills and 
identify your objectives in developing these skills in the future. The checklists given in the part 
consist of: Self-assessment cheklists from A1 to C1 level and 5 language skill sections for each 
level. Each of the tables contain descriptors column of a skill for a relevant level, “I can do it 
easily”, “I can do it with help”, “Its my objective” and “My teacher’s notes” columns.
 
Read carefully through the levels and their descriptors (if you find it difficult which level 
applies to you refer to Self-assessment grid in the Language Passport and read through them 
carefully) and think of the question: “Can I do the activities given in the descriptors?” and 
choose one of the answers which is appropriate to your answer given in three columns. The
