Implementation of the research results. Based on results of the study 
conducted to determine optimal rates of mineral fertilizers on winter wheat in 
conditions of irrigated meadow alluvial soils of the Khorezm region: 
“Recommendation on leaf-diagnostics based N-fertilizer use in winter 
wheat” was developed and approved (Reference of the Ministry of Agriculture № 
02/021-188 of March 16, 2019). The recommendation serves as a practical 
guidance for farms of the Khorezm region specialized in grain production. 
The application of optimal norms of mineral fertilizers on winter wheat was 
inculcated in Urgench district of Khorezm region on139.3 ha, also in the Khorezm 
Research Station of Cotton Breeding, Seed Production and Agrotechnologies 
Research Institute on an area of 5.0 ha (Reference of the Ministry of Agriculture № 
02/021-188 of March 16, 2019). At the same time, in comparison with 
conventional agrotechnology of growing winter wheat, the increase in grain yield 
was 0.10-0.15 t ha
-1
, an increase in profitability of 15-20% was achieved. 
The development of the efficient use of N-fertilizers at tillering and booting 
growth stages of winter wheat based on leaf diagnostics was implemented in the 
Khanka and Yangibazar districts of the Khorezm region on an area of 30 and 30 
hectares respectively (Reference of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of 
№ 02/021-188 of March 16, 2019). As a result, better growth and development of 
plants, 0.4-0.5 t ha
-1
of wheat grain was additionally obtained, compared to the 
conventional fertilizer application, 30-40 kg ha
-1
of N-fertilizer was saved.

introduction, six chapters, conclusions, list of references and annexes. The volume 
of the dissertation is 110 pages.
