In addition, follow-up visits were paid to participants by the NMIMR in March and 
April 2004.    Staff members of the NMIMR conducted a slide evaluation for blinded 
rechecking as a part of QA during the period of these follow-up visits. 
The TB microscopy centres in private hospitals in Accra and Kumasi are able to 
provide accurate diagnosis for other nations through the contribution of the NMIMR.
