The prepared textbook is compiled on the basis of the requirements of the 
National Program for Personnel Training, the educational State Standard of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan, the standard and work program for this master's subject. 
It reflects the theoretical foundations of monetary policy, methods and tools for 
implementing monetary policy, the monetary policy of the Central Bank of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan, the mechanisms of regulation of the economy through 
monetary instruments. 
The manual analyzes and summarizes various theories, concepts, strategies and 
models of monetary policy, and also provides the necessary ideas. 
In preparing the manual, the works of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 
new laws and regulations in the field of economic reforms, actual and statistical 
materials on the implementation of economic reform were used. The works of such 
prominent economists as J. Keynes, A. Smith, D. Ricardo, M. Friedman, J. S. Mill, 
U, Jevons, J. Billers and N. Barbon, J. Stewart, A. Marshall and other 
Along with this, in the preparation of this textbook, new pedagogical and information 
technologies were used. The manual is designed primarily for undergraduates and can 
be used by independent researchers, students, interns and those who are interested in 
improving the monetary policy of the national economy.
