Brief comparison of MS PPTP to other VPN options available as

alternative VPN options, such as other PPTP implementations, 
L2F, L2TP, IPSEC, IKE, SSH, CIPE, & IPIP.
Suggested options to decrease the vulnerabilities of using PPTP

as a VPN solution.
One of the goals of this document is to attempt to bring together all the 
different scattered pieces of information about PPTP, MS PPTP, and the related 
technologies. It takes a considerable amount of time and effort to find all the 
pieces to understanding this technology. Hopefully, between the information 
listed in this document, the extensive bibliography and listings of references, 
most, if not all, of the related information will be at hand.
