Objective: to consolidate the polite questions and answers
Ask the pupils to look at the picture and open their Work-
books on Page 43. Ask them to write the sentences. Their answers 
may vary.
Activity 3c Work in pairs. Play “Can I have …?”

Objective: to reinforce the structure “Can I have …?”
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to put the school things on the desk. 
Come to the desk and show a pen and then ask a pupil ‘Can i have 
a pen?’ Then explain that the pupils can answer ‘Yes, here you 
are.’ or ‘no, sorry.’
STEP 2: now the pupils can do the same as you have just 
demonstrated.
