Abstract
In this paper, we explain how to use simulation to study mathematical modeling. The
simulations are performed using the R programming environment. We use two examples
to demonstrate the modeling activities. For each case, the description of the model,
simulation steps, and the solution are discussed. R codes for each case are also provided.
