Capacity of Rayleigh channel is modeled by replacing the effect of AWGN channel 

model  in the Matlab simulation code. The final capacity of both channels is shown in 

Figure 5.2. [26]

Received Signal Code Power (RSCP) 

RSCP the received power on one code measured on the primary Common Pilot Channel 

(CPICH). The reference point for the RSCP shall be the antenna connector of the UE. If 

Tx  diversity is applied on the primary CPICH the received code power from each an-

tenna shall be  separately measured and summed together in watts  to a total received 

code power on the primary CPICH. [20]
