The components of the educational process
The theory of teaching foreign language, which based on the achievements of science, illuminates the fruitful practice and shows optimal ways to promote the goal. The practice, in its turn, which is not supported by theory, will rarely reach the goal.
Theoretical course of teaching foreign language should disclose the major components of the theory of modern teaching. From the perspective of learning theory, the entire training process can be represented schematically as a following:

The learning process cannot be effective, and in some cases impossible, without a clear interaction between all three components. If the students do not show interest in mastering the foreign language, no matter how much he or she tries, even with good training organization to succeed, the teacher will not reach the goal. Similar results are obtained due to ignorance of teacher and the theory of learning will be helpless while practicing their teaching functions. There will be no proper result however there is a specific goal of the lesson and properly selected method of the work or teacher training technique. Methods of teaching a foreign language - is the subject that studies the objectives, content, methods, tools and techniques of instruction, and methods of training and teaching foreign language material.
General methods - studies the patterns and features of the process of learning any foreign language.
Private methods - explores the learning of language and speech events that are specific to a particular foreign language, in this case English.
The rapid development of methodical science paved the way to some independent branches of the general methods:
