Create the column B you identify employee salary for each worker.
Create the column C where you insert the number of hours employee worked this week. The range should be between 20 to 80. Also, use conditional formatting to highlight cell with different color if hours worked exceed 40.
Create the column D where using formula, you need to find the number of extra hours worked by employee. Example: if an employee worked for 76 hours then, anything above 40 hours will be considered as extra hours. In this case, 36 are extra hours. Using IF formula provide extra hours in column D, if no extra hours indicate as 0.
In column E, calculate how much an employee should receive the salary with condition that any extra hour/hours worked employees should receive 1.5 more of the set salaries from column B. Example: if someone worked for 48 hours and has the salary of $18 per hour, then that person should receive 40 hours *$18 + 8 hours *$18*1.5. If person worked for less than 40 hours, then the standard salary (from column B) rate should be awarded.
