Introduction


Actuality of the work lies in that the Grammar is the sound, structure, and meaning system of language. All languages have grammar, and each language has its own grammar. People who speak the same language are able to communicate with each other because they all know the grammar system and structure of that language, that is, the meaningful rules of grammar. Students who are native speakers of English know English grammar, recognize the sounds of English words, the meaning of those words; and also can combine words to make meaningful sentences in different
Ways but still there is much to be studied in this subject.
The aim of the course work is to reveal the instructional benefit of learning grammar in teaching writing
The tasks of the course work:
a) to discuss the role of grammar in teaching writing skills
b) current educational problems in Uzbekistan
c) the limitations of grammar in writing improvement
d) teachers’ perspectives toward grammar teaching in Uzbekistan
e) students’ perspectives toward grammar learning in Uzbekistan
