Methods.
Based on the above considerations, in our study we studied the optimal feeding rate in the agronomic techniques of growing late melons, one of the most widely grown melons in the light gray soils of Mingbulak district of Namangan region and we aimed to analyze the issue of meeting the demand for this food product by studying the impact of this measure on melon yield.
Field experiments were carried out on light gray soils of the Mingbulak district of the south-west region of Namangan.
It should be noted that Mingbulak district belongs to the Fergana melon oasis, and most of the melon products are grown in the region. Analysis of the data obtained shows that the soil and climatic conditions of the district are very favorable for the cultivation of melons, which allows to grow high quality crops of all varieties of melons.
In our experiment, the effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the same background on the yield of melons was studied as an object of study. The amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers for the background was 100 kg P and 50 kg K per hectare based on the recommendations of the scientific literature.

The experiment consisted of 4 variants, in 3 rows, located in one tier, each variant was 5.4 m wide, 21 m long, with a total area of 113 m², of which the accounting area was 54 m², and the row spacing was 270 cm. The experimental system is shown in Table 1 below.
