It is true that communication between has changed completely in the modern world and technology has affected relationships in various ways. This essay will compare both ancient and current communication.
On the one hand, the need for communication, transfer, and storage of information appeared along with the emergence of human society. However, it is necessary to mention that the first intention of ancient people to communicate with one another was speech. The sound was a basic element of contact, but when there is a long distance between collocutors, some auxiliary and supporting communication methods are required. Therefore, people started to use such primitive technologies as whistles, animal horns and another instruments. The period continued to change, as well as methods of communication. However, verbal relationship was a main to ancient period population.
On the contrary, technology has certainly revolutionized communication between people in new era. Firstly, telephones and the internet allow everyone in different places to interact without ever meeting each other. Secondly, services like Zoom, Whatsapp create new possibilities for relationships between students and teachers. For example, a student can now take video lessons with a teacher in a different country or city. I can also add that many people use social networks, like Facebook, to make new friends and find people who share common interests, and they interact trough their computers and smartphones rather than face to face.
In conclusion, it seems to me that communication is an important factor to make a contact with people therefore it is actual issue in all times. Despite common goals, two period of relationships has a great differences.
