Majority of city dwellers find it quite challenging to gain sufficient physical practice these days. This issue can be determined by several factors, but hopefully it can be addressed by adopting a number of viable solutions.

Clearly, several factors are available behind this problem. One of the cogent reasons is people’s hectic pace of life. These days, the workload and studies people take has risen somewhat due to the increases in the so-called rat race. They seem to be constantly working or studying to the point of exhaustion every single day which enables them to do sedentary forms of entertainment, since engaging in physical exertion appears to be rather lackadaisical. Another reason stems from the ambience in the cities. Specifically, most cities are now surrounded by concrete buildings and over-crowded streets compared to greener areas, namely parks and lakes. While the latter kinds of areas can be favorable to do physical activities, the former types may not be acceptable.



However burning the problem is, a range of options can be taken to tackle it. The simplest one is altering public mindset. This needs to happen via awareness-rising campaigns. For instance, authorities can televise diverse advertisements or programs, showing the drawbacks of inactive lifestyle or campaigns could launch weekly-marathons regularly across the whole city. Moreover, companies and schools should regulate obligatory morning exercises every day for their workers and students. Should this approach be widely applied, it might form an invariable habit in city settlers.

In conclusion, although there are some driving causes which bring about urban inhabitant’s lack of physical movements, various measures can be taken to help get in shape and have adequate work-out.
