General Overview of “AJI” sushi-bar
One of the most popular areas of small business development is the development of the catering industry: restaurant, cafe, bar. “Every month, about ten new restaurants in various price segments open in Tashkent. The growth trend in the number of restaurants in the capital will continue for at least the next three to five years. The most active growth will be accompanied by chain restaurant concepts and bars, mainly in the niche of quality inexpensive cuisine (average bill size from $ 25 to $ 50 per person). Therefore, in this segment, investors are actively looking for new approaches, concepts, trying to study their consumers.
The choice of the catering sector was made based on the estimated income and costs:
A restaurant for the "middle" class can bring its owner an average of 30 to 65 thousand dollars a year, the maximum annual profit is 500 thousand dollars. On average, it will take 200-250 thousand dollars to open
Coffee houses with a relatively low level of initial investments have about 10-25 thousand dollars in annual profit.
Bars - about 20-60 thousand dollars.
The restaurants made more profit due to the large flow of visitors. But at the same time, do not forget that it’s worth investing a lot more for opening: high rent, expensive repairs, thoughtful interior, well-trained waiters, expensive chefs.
For a sushi bar, location is important. The right place is the key to the success of such an institution. The competition in the city center has become huge. There are restaurants, cafes and bars of Japanese cuisine. High rental rate. In this connection, the sushi bar will be located not in the center, but in the sleeping areas. In many residential areas there is no decent place to spend an evening, although there is demand. We will consider the Chilanzar and Yunusobod districts of the city of Tashkent. We will conduct a comparative analysis of the rented, ready-made premises for opening a sushi bar.
A lot of new housing has been built in these areas in recent years. And the influx of population into these areas does not stop new houses are being built, infrastructure is being developed, fitness centers, and shopping centers. At the same time, there are only a few good places to spend an evening. If you open a cozy sushi bar, with prices lower than in restaurants and bars present in these areas, then there will be demand.

The sushi bar will be located at the metro station Chilanzar, Bunyodkor pr., 17. This area is the border between the city center and subsequent bedrooms. Even though in this area there is a high rental rate, in the district there is a high cross-country ability (five-minute distance from the Chilanzar metro), there are many business centers nearby. There are cafes and a couple of high-end restaurants in the area, but Japanese cuisine is represented by only one restaurant in the area.
Renting a room of a similar area in this area will cost 83 300 Som per m2. The leased premises are provided with redecoration. The monthly rent for the premises will be 10 000 000 Som.
The goal of the project is the creation of a catering establishment offering Japanese cuisine in the mid-price segment, with 50 seats.
