Market research

The task to assess the food industry of Uzbekistan. While the researching author paid attention in restaurant sector and new business possibilities. The new business starts with marketing research. In author’s case it includes following steps: Determine the problem by analyzing primary data (collect data through observation, survey and used instrument is questionnaire), clarify target group and offer the solution, learn competitors.
The area of Uzbekistan is big enough. So, author reduced target market area. First possible area for research is Tashkent capital of Uzbekistan, secondly the regions. Survey results in below

In the survey participated 120 total respondents 45% male and 55% female. It shown in Figure 1.1.

The Figure 1.2 describes about marital status of our respondents. Author categorized by single, married with kids and married without kids.

The 3^rd question is about age. The participants answer show that by the category 17% under 17, 45% 18-40, 38% 41 or older. In Figure 1.3.
