Introduction
"Lost generation" - young people who went to war right from the school desk. They did not see happiness in their youth, instead of love and walking under the moon, they got trenches and attacks. These are people who have lost faith in the good, confident that everything ends in death. At the same time, their youth and love of life protect them, leave in them some part of romanticism, the desire to live.
Many researchers now compare the beginning of the twentieth century and our time, finding many similar moments in these historical stages. Therefore, understanding the worldview of the" lost generation " of the early twentieth century will help us to solve many problems of modern youth at the present time. After all, it is no secret that the views on the lives of young people of our time are not very different from the views of the "lost generation". Many of them passed through Chechnya and other hot spots, while others did so because of the change in the socio-political structure of the country, when there was not enough time to deal with the problems of young people and they saw and understood everything in their own way. Now we have to sort out the mistakes of ten or fifteen years ago, and this can only be done through an analysis in a somewhat similar period-the beginning of the twentieth century. Best of all, what was happening at that time is described in works of fiction, where we see the experiences and sufferings of a young man left alone with himself and with the war that will remain in his heart forever.
The above considerations determine the relevance of the thesis research topic.
