Family Values. It consists of eight value statements, each focusing on a type or feature of individual behavior taking place in the context of others. I believe it embodies the three realizations listed above. It follows here only because everyone needs a model, for better or worse, with which to start moving forward.
I worded the principles so they emphasize the dual role of rights (receiver) and responsibilities (provider). We take the responsibility perspective when we ask, "How do my actions help others access the rights identified in the principles?" We take the rights perspective when we ask,
