4. What is the benefit (good thing) that would come from bringing more people to Uzbekistan? (1 point)

5. Name three ways learning more than one language has benefited you. How could your learning another language benefit your family? Name 1 way. Your country? Name 2 ways. (4 points) 

6. Can you think of something in Russian that cannot be said in Uzbek? Or in Uzbek that can’t be said in Russian? Or in English that you don’t have an equivalent (something equal) in Uzbek? What does this mean about the benefits of learning more languages? (2 points) 

7. Write down as many reasons for using language as you can. Don’t stop at saying “to talk!” Why do you talk? Name as many reasons as you can. (5 points) 

8. Learning languages can be both hard and fun. Tell about what’s most difficult. Then write about the funnest activity you ever did learning a language. (3 points) 

9. If you could choose another language to be taught in this school, which language would it be? Why would you choose THAT language? (You can give your partner 5 minutes to browse languages online.) 

10. Do you think language learning is more a tool (something to use) or do you see it more as door to understanding other cultures. Why do you think the way you do? There’s no right or wrong answer. This is your opinion.
