Postal remittances
is a financial service to transfer the funds sent from one person to another
using a postal document and is divided into several types, as follows:
Internal remittances (remittances of the public):
remittances sent by one person to another
person within the Republic, and they are two types (withdrawn - cashed).
Government Remittances
: they are sent by individuals to government bodies as fees for a
particular service through post offices. They are called withdrawn governmental remittances.
Electronic remittances
(immediate remittances): a service through which customers can send
money in a short period of time to others. This service is electronically carried out through the EDI
system.
Cashed external remittances:
are received by individuals in the A.R.E abroad by foreign currency
and are cashed to beneficiaries from post offices against a specified fee paid in the Egyptian pounds.
