Inflation and Monetary Policy in Russia

Wojciech Paczyñski

Wojciech  Paczyñski  received  an  MA  in  International  Economics  from  the  University  of

Sussex in 1998, followed by an MA in Economics 1999 and MSc in Mathematics in 2000 from

Warsaw University. Since 1998 he has been working as an economist at the Center for Eastern

Studies of the Ministry of Economy of Poland. In 2000 he began cooperation with CASE. He is

the editor of "The Global Economy", a CASE quarterly analytical/forecasting publication. He

was  recently  involved  in  the  World  Bank  sponsored  CASE  project  on  trade  policy  in  the

Caucasus region. His research interests include economies in transition, political economy and

game theory.
