In this article, we will consider the most effective methods for enriching the vocabulary
Vocabulary is the most unity of the study in the study of a foreign language. It is needed to communicate with people, express our feelings, or share opinions. A large vocabulary shows how a person speaks fluently the language. As it is known creating a vocabulary is a long and to some extent a difficult process.
if a person understands that he wants to learn foreign languages, then age or social status is not a hindrance, you only need desire and time, as well as patience. With the development of technology in our time, mankind has become lazy and this is reflected in the study of a foreign language. Reading books in the library seems boring to us or sitting in the audience listening to lectures is not interesting. All this actions will not give us results in the future. So what to do then? First thing let's do what we like.
1. Learn a language with music. In 2012 researchers at the Brain and Creativity Institute at University of Southern California began a five-year study. They believe that music training during childhood or short period may benefit language acquisition in children given that developing language and reading skills engage similar brain areas.
2. Watching films. King (200) indicated that the use of films as tools to teach or learn English allow increase students motivation and cultural awareness. King adds that “as far as student motivation and interest are concerned, entertaining films are sometimes enjoyable and relevant to learners' appreciation of popular culture.” (p. 515).
3. Creating antonym and synonym word list. With a help of synonyms and antonyms we can express ourselves better and more clearly. Knowing them will help to avoid repetition. Adding antonyms and synonyms to our speech will make it richer and more colorful.
4. Reading the news in our target language
