Conclusion
After the experiment and data processing, it can be noted that the general level of reading skill development among students in grade 2 has increased. The data obtained give grounds to assert the effectiveness of the selected exercises. In general, it can be said that children are more attentive to the process of reading when doing work, their interest in the lesson of literary reading has increased, the ability to consciously relate to work has improved, which had a positive impact on learning.
When using the above exercises and types of work, the process of improving the reading technique is easier and faster, the stability of attention and working memory are improved. Exercises for the development of reading technique are necessary for all students: for some, these exercises help to correct deficiencies, for others - not to lose previously acquired skills.
In the course of the study, based on the analysis of the scientific and methodological literature on the topic of the study, exercises aimed at developing the reading technique of students in elementary school were described.
Applying the learned techniques in practice, first of all, the level of educational requirements regarding reading technique was revealed.
Thus, the research hypothesis was confirmed.
