Meeting of two generations", which has absorbed history, present and future

On April 9 of this year, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary S.Saidkosimov held an open dialogue with students and young scientists of the University.
The event was attended by the rector's advisor O.Turdimatov, the first vice-rector for Spiritual and Educational Work and Youth Issues O.Yusupdjanov, deans of faculties, faculty members, students, as well as “Women scientists” from 20 mahallas of Mirzo-Ulugbek district under the Women's Advisory Council of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy
In the opening speech, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work O. Yusupdjanov noted that the legacy of Amir Temur is valued and revered as a model of courage and justice. Consequently, Sakhibkiran is the founder of a powerful state, the patron of science, culture and spirituality, a great ancestor who has made an invaluable contribution to world civilization.
This open dialogue, organized in order to perpetuate the memory of the great commander Amir Temur, who left a great name in the history of Uzbek statehood, a deeper penetration into the hearts of young people of a sense of historical memory, belonging to the great past and patriotism, called for an open dialogue with suggestions and opinions of students.
It was noted that at the initiative of the President of our country, the state youth policy in our country has risen to a higher level, broad opportunities for self-realization of young people are being created, comprehensive support for young people is being carried out.
S.Saidkosimov noted that the conditions created at the university need to be enriched with quality and content, to achieve higher goals independently, and for this it is necessary to practice more.
The culmination of the event was that S. Saidkosimov shared several historical events in order to expand the worldview and thoughts of students. The students received answers to all their questions.
At the end of the meeting, S. Saidkosimov gave some tips that will serve as a basis for further steps.
