3. How can older people benefit from belonging to a group or a club?
Well, belonging to an association must be rewarding in many aspects. First of all, it's a great
chance  for  senior  citizens  to  make  friends,  and  find  people  who  might  have  the  same  hobbies.
Retired people might feel lonely if their children are out working. It is important for them to socialize
in order to keep busy. When they become a widow or a widower, they must go out to keep their
mind  busy,  and  avoid  becoming  depressed.  In  addition,  elderly  people  can  volunteer  for  charity
associations in order to help their communities. They will feel useful again by working and assisting
others.
