I have made a decision about a career and have put a lot of time and money going into my career, I feel like there are still a lot of options for me. There are many different environments and different populations that I could choose to work with. In doing numerous assessments, I am hoping to learn more about myself and validate what I think that I know to be true about myself. Both career and personality assessment would be useful to me. My top five areas of interest turned out to be counseling & helping, religion and spirituality, athletics, management and social sciences in that order. A lot of these were a repetition of the other two tests and fit in perfectly. A few of my strong occupations were a study center administrator, English teacher, seller
The only surprising thing about this test was that I scored hire with in the enterprising theme rather the realistic theme. The enterprising theme revealed that I should be interested in business and politics, be good with selling and marketing, and be risk taking. I usually analyze everything before I do and taking risks is not usually the norm for me. This test analyzes our responses to show us our interests and what would be the most satisfying career path. I realized that one aspect of my personality often over shadows that other characteristics I posses. After this test I realized that perhaps I should take a few chances and see where that leads me. I do understand that these tests are only a tool and not the decision makers but any new insight is a good opportunity to segue into more fulfilling career paths. I enjoy working with others to make things happen and bring common sense and a realistic approach to work and at the same time make work fun. I am flexible and spontaneous and adapt rapidly to new people and new environments. I also learn best by trying new skills with others. I would like to put all of these characteristics into a career of my own. Some suggested jobs or career titles which have been suggested for me are: teacher, travel agent, emergency room nurse, performer, floral designer.
