L et’s talk about travel.

How often do you go on holiday?

I ’d say typically once or twice  a year -  always during the sum m er (for 

about two weeks), and sometimes, if I’m lucky, I get to go away another 

time as well.  But, unfortunately, th at doesn’t happen as often as I ’d 

like it to...  As my old gran used to say, ‘money doesn’t grow on trees’!!

Where did you go most recently?

Last tim e I w ent on holidays,  I w ent to Paris for a w eek w ith th e rest 

of my family.  It was last M arch  and we had such a w onderful tim e 

visiting all the city’s fam ous sites  and attractions.  It blew me away!

Who do you normally go on holiday with?

M ost of the time,  I go with my family, but,  as I get older,  I  am m ore 

inclined to go with my friends instead som etim es as th at gives m e a 

little bit m ore independence to do my own thing. As tim e goes on,  I 

guess I’ll probably w ant to do th at m ore and m ore.
