Task 2. Choose materials according your problem 
A 
You  teach  a  group  of  first  year  students  of  the  Faculty  of  Economics  at  The 
National  University  of  Uzbekistan.  You  have  classes  once  a  week  for  2  hours  – 
with 80 total contact hours over the year. You want to focus on a grammar point 
each  lesson  and  to  base  your  syllabus  on  a  course  book.  Your  students  want  to 
develop their grammar and vocabulary and their listening and reading skills. They 
are interested in reading extracts from English literature. You have done a  survey 
and found out that most of your students are visual learners. 
B 
You  are  teaching  at  a  private  language  school  in  the  evenings.  Most  of  your 
learners are adults who come to the class after their work. Most of them want to go 
abroad.  They  need  to  know  how  to  survive  there.  They  want  to  develop  their 
speaking and writing skills in order to be able to communicate freely in a foreign 
country.  In  your  group  there  are  people  of  different  learning  styles.  They  do  not 
like long instructions as they do not like reading very much.
