1.6.2 Hymns of the saints:
Most of the hymns composed by the saints have their name with the name of the raag and the tune (ghar) with it.
1.6.3. Hymns of the bards:
The heading of these hymns depict the name of the Guru in whose praise the hymns have been written. The name of the bhatts comes at the end of the hymn. For example, the headings are ‘Swaya about Mehla 1’, about ‘Mehla 2’, about ‘Mehla 3’, about ‘Mehla 4’ and about ‘Mehla 5’.
1.6.4. Raagmala:
The last composition in the Granth is known as 'Raagmala'. Like Japji Sahib in the beginning of the Granth this composition has no heading to show the name of the author.
