DATA COLLECTION
Step one
When the researcher collected all the intended information, as mentioned it in the current work, the investigator selected the teachers who were qualified enough and were aware of new teaching technologies. They were the teachers of the first grade pupils and other classes’ teachers. When the researcher went to the school number 202, she found that the educators had just finished the course that was specialized to increase the knowledge of modern techniques and methods. Even, so that the researcher received the best results, she gave the questions to the teachers of the school, because they are also aware of the educational system, new technologies in delivering this language. It was the researcher’ luck that while distributing the research she came across with the methodologists of this university. There were many people and they took part in the research work eagerly to add their contribution.
It took only 4 days to get all the deliberate answers. After receiving the sheets of paper, the investigator got satisfied with the answers; because they were able to serve to add a good contribution to the research work in the direction of find the solutions of the questions. The teachers gave their feedbacks about their learners, added some useful techniques that they discovered themselves. They analyzed and answered appropriately. Generally speaking, the researcher liked the teachers’ feedbacks, and they were helpful for the study; one of them that the researcher liked most was almost no writing is used in the first grade pupils’ classes. The questionnaire contained nine questions that were stated in the research plan.
1. How does vocabulary develop in young children?
2. What are the best practices for teaching vocabulary to young children?
3. How does music enhance pupil learning?
4. How does music affect the brain and the development of vocabulary?
5. How can song picture books support vocabulary development?
6. How the class should be decorated in order to create English speaking environment?
7. How many and what kind of words should be deliver in a lesson or a topic?
8. Which approaches do you prefer as the best ones, better or least ones? Put numbers from 1 to 9:

  1. Communicative approach

  2. Task-based language learning approach

  3. Lexical approach

  4. Grammar-Translation Method

  5. Direct Method

  6. Audio-lingual Method

  7. Situational Approach

  8. Incidental approach

  9. Natural Method

9. Should the vocabulary be taught as a separate subject?
Actually, the investigator got the questions in a pair of two days, the distributed questionnaire’s amount was approximately 60, and almost all of them were received, 56 were returned. One third of the questionnaire was prepared for school 163, 20 of it for the school 202 and the rest was for the teachers of the school. From the school 100% answers were taken, while 13 of them was taken from the school 202, the rest were from 163. In the school 163, the cause of lack of the answers’ amount was the absence of the teachers at that time. They were in the meeting that continued 3 days. After their meeting, the researcher could not get them because of the shortage of the time.
From the learners, it was not difficult to take the results according to some easy situations:

  • The questionnaire was only in an oral form

  • It was in their own language

  • The questions were chosen according to psychological state of children (the age, nationality, culture, background was taken into consideration)

The researcher canvassed five questions from the learners of the both groups in an oral form in their native language in order to facilitate their understanding of the questions. The English translation of them is given in the brackets.



  1. Ingliz tili fanini yaxshi ko’rasizmi? (Do you like English)?

  2. Nima uchun bu tilni o’rganishni yaxshi ko’rasiz? (Why are you eager to learn this language)?

  3. Ingliz tili darsida nimalarni ko’proq va qanday qilib o’rganishni yoqtirasiz? (What and how do you like to learn most in the English lessons)?

  4. Qanday mavzularda gaplashishni xohlaysiz? (What topics would you like to speak)?

  • My favorite toys and dolls

  • A lovely weather

  • My lovely teachers

  • My lovely family member

  • My favorite subject at school

  • It is a schooling day

  • Tasty dishes

  • A park which is joyful

  • Pretty colors

  • Favorite cartoons
