SWU Boards

Figure 2 shows the location of maintenance interfaces on the switching unit (SWU) board. Table 2 describes the specifications of maintenance interfaces on the SWU board.

SWU	BMC COM serial port	This port is used for loading or upgrading the BMC software.	The communication standard is RS232, the interface type is RJ-45, and the baud rate is 115,200 bit/s.	1

	LAN1 network port	This port is used for data loading and internal commissioning.	This port supports 10/100 Mbit/s Base-T auto-negotiation. It is connected to an FTP5 cable through an RJ-45 connector. This port two built-in indicators. The network port is used only to load BASE plane drive software and to perform internal commissioning.	1
	LAN0 network port	This port is used for local maintenance.	This port supports 10/100 Mbit/s Base-T auto-negotiation. It is connected to an FTP5 cable through an RJ-45 connector. This port two built-in indicators. The port is used for loading the drive software of the Fabric plane and fiber channel (FC). The network port is available only after the BASE plane has started.	1
