The analytical predictive approach consists of choosing an objective variable, handling the data, partitioning 
data, constructing algorithms and optimizing algorithms (Figure 1). Each step is crucial to ensure the findings 
are valid internally and provide the evidence needed to improve future decision making. The preferred models, 
data types used and raw dataset management include many permutations. However, the previsionary analytic 
approach seen in Figure 1 promotes the systemic implementation and evaluation of big data analyses.
