Relative Pronouns
i. Nisbiy olmoshlar qo’shma gaplar tarkibida kelgan bosh gap va ergash gaplarni bir-biriga bog’lash uchun ishlatiladi.
-Bu holat asosan aniqlovchi ergash gaplar tarkibida kuzatiladi.
-Nisbiy olmoshlar egani yoki to’ldiruvchini bog’lash uchun ishlatiladi.
-Demak, nisbiy olmoshlar 2 ta sodda gapdan 1 ta murakkab gap yasash uchun ishlatiladi.
-Agar ega jonli shaxs, who, that nisbiy olmoshlardan foydalaniladi.
For. ex: The woman is a doctor. She lives next door. – The woman who/that lives next door is a doctor.
An architect is someone who/that designs buildings.
ii. Agar ega jonsiz predmet bo’lsa which, that nisbiy olmoshlarini ishlatamiz.
For. ex: Give me a book. It is behind you. Give me the book which/that is behind you.
The books must be returned to the library. They are on the table.
The books which/that must be returned to the library are on the table.
iii. Agar to’ldiruvchi jonli shaxs bo’lsa, who, whom, that nisbiy olmoshlaridan foydalaniladi. ularni tushirib qoldirish mumkin
For. ex: Is that the man? We saw him at the cinema yesterday. Is that the man whom/who /tht we saw at the cinema yesterday.
The man was away on holiday. I wanted to see him. The man whom /who/that I wanted to see was away on holiday.
The man I wanted to see was away on holiday.
iv. Agar to’ldiruvchi jonsiz predmet bo’lsa which, that nisbiy olmoshlaridan foydalanamiz. ularni tushirib qoldirishimiz mumkin.
For. ex: Have a look at the stamps. I bought them yesterday.
Have a look at the stamps which/that I bought yesterday.=Have a look at the stamps I bought yesterday.
