cultural space in a literary text.

Methodology.
 
The article analyzes the concept of "cultural space" and linguoculturemes as units that 
model the cultural space in a literary text. Using the method of continuous sampling, the author 
selected examples of linguoculturemes, the linguistic side of which is represented by lexical means 
of artistic expression. The features of the functioning of the selected linguoculturemes were studied 
with the help of the linguoculturological analysis and the modeling method.
Results.
 
In the course of the study, it was revealed that the lexical means of artistic expression show 
the features of the relationship between the cultural space elements, revealing their details and char-
acteristics. The most common lexical means of artistic expression that models the cultural space in 
a literary text is the epithet. At the same time, the most important elements of the cultural space are 
modeled in the literary text with the help of various lexical expressive means.
Research implications.
The theoretical and practical significance lies in the development of a model 
for the analysis of linguoculturemes, the linguistic basis of which is lexical expressive means, in or-
der to identify the elements of cultural space in a literary text. The results of the study are significant 
both for the theory of language in general, and for linguoculturology in particular.
