Describe a traditional celebration you like.

You should say:

•  w hat the celebration is

•  who you norm ally celebrate w ith  and w here you norm ally celebrate

•  what you do  during the celebration 

and explain why you like it.

My  favourite  trad itio n al  cele b ratio n   has  to  be  C hristm as;  it’s  my 

favourite tim e of year.  I  always celebrate it w ith my family -  my D ad, 

brother,  sister,  niece  and  nephew  -  and we  usually  see  my g ran d p ar­

ents  too.  W e  usually  spend  the  day  at  my  D a d ’s  house  and  everyone 

com es round for presents, gam es and a big roast dinner. W e have lots 

of little  traditions,  like  the  music  th at we  listen  to  and  the  food  th at 

we  eat,  so  it feels very  special  every year.  I  also  have  a  tradition w ith 

my friends -  every year we have ou r own m ini-Christm as on C hristm as 

Eve, w hen we have m ince pies and exchange presents.
