Answers The thing which comes to my mind when I hear the word “studying” is the people who are throwing up their masters’ cap to the sky and celebrating their goals with friends. When I was a schoolgirl, it was awesome for me watching undergraduate students. But after entered university, I just have been interested in Masters. So, all are connected and this is an appropriate definition for “studying”
Actually, I am really keen on reading books. To be more precise, adventure and fictional romantic books are my favorite. While reading them it seems to me that I live with personages in books.
Well, from my point of view, it is not connected to the place where you’re studying. I know some people who don’t want to hold a book in their hands, although they are students. And there are little children who know about books before they speak.
The thing which always make me happy that school memories. Especially graduating time, cause in that year we had to take state exams from 9 subjects and after passing every exam we poured water over every pupil. And that was unforgettable. And another story which was very funny was that we played hidden game and according to the game one pupil should have tie her/his eyes and find other classmates and tell her/his name. If gamer couldn’t find he/she would be a looser.
To be honest studying English wasn’t my choice, it was my parents. It is easy for me to learn any kind of thing( language), if it is wanted by my parents. However, I like my English pronunciation and when I take part in debates ideas come to my mind quickly and I stop myself speaking. At this time I thanked from my parents.
Today, internet is affecting the way of studying. As everything has two sides, utilizing net in education will be productive. But the other hand it will be harmful also.
Plus points which I want to mention are, we can learn subjects in distance and this save our time and money, as well. Additionally, you will find friends all over the world and by communicating with them makes you learn other foreign languages. Another key factor of this, instead of buying famous expensive books, you can download them from the internet.
In contrast, if we study with internet, there will be a lot cheating and students don’t want to work on themselves. Well, I think they have their own methods and ways. For example, we are taught with traditional and online study. Maybe they don’t have traditional way but they will have their own way.
We can’t say that 100% of students want to study or always work on themselves. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t anybody who is lazy.
Let me give you a real example: in our group there are 15 students and 2 of them can’t understand the English and even they can’t speak. But others are able to speak and comprehend every task which are given in English. So percentages are showing 30/70. As a second language learner I advise to beginners never stop learning and always try to speak even try to say one word in English. I hope this will help starters to make a progress in their learning process
