Food Hygiene and Safety guidelines for Food Businesses during Coronavirus Disease (covid-19) Pandemic

Toilets and Washrooms shall be cleaned after every shift using water and detergent. This shall 

be  followed  with  disinfection  using  freshly  prepared  0.5  per  cent  hypochlorite  solution  (free 

chlorine)  or  any  other  disinfectant  found  to  be  effective  against  corona  virus.  For  metallic 

surfaces  (such  as  shower,  taps,  etc.)  and  surfaces  where  use  of  bleach  is  not  suitable,  use  70 

percent alcohol based disinfectant.

All cleaning equipment, cloth, mops, reusable protective gear such as boots, gloves etc. shall be 

thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every use and prior to use in other areas.
