38.2.1 Everyone in Wendy’s class is doing two weeks of work experience with local

businesses. Wendy meets a friend of hers at the mall at the weekend and they talk about

their experiences.

Wendy: So how do you like your work experience so far?

Lisa: It’s pretty interesting. How about you?

Wendy:  Really  good,  actually.  I’m  getting  to  learn  lots  of  really  useful

skills and I’m getting to meet some really interesting people who’ve given

me some career advice.

Lisa: Great! You’re lucky. My work experience hasn’t been that useful so

far.
