Jill:  It  took  me  twice  as  long  as  usual  to  get  to  work  yesterday.  I  had  to

take the bus because of the train strike. How about you?

Lucy: I got to work by car.

Jill: You don't drive do you?

Lucy: I do. Very rarely, but I do.

35.4.1 Rob and Arjun’s friends have invited them to a party. Unfortunately, Rob’s car is

being fixed so they can’t use it to go to the party.

Arjun: I really wanna go to this party, but how will we get there? Your car

is out of action and I can’t afford a taxi.

Rob: Why don’t we just take the bus?

Arjun:  I’ve  never  taken  the  bus  before.  Do  you  know  how  to  get  to  the

party from here by bus?

Rob: It can’t be that hard. Let’s Google it.

Arjun: Ok.
