relating to a case in which I am engaged:

I will keep in my custody or possession the copy of the report 
provided to me; 
•
I will not copy the report or cause it to be copied; 
•
I will not disclose the contents of the report to any other person 
other than my client or in the case of the Director of Public 
Prosecutions, another officer of that office engaged in the matter; 
•
I will return the copy of the report to the court immediately 
following the hearing.

Published Written Sentencing Remarks 
___________________________________________________________ 
1. 
Published written sentencing remarks are the official record of the 
court's sentencing remarks. These reflect in written form what was said 
by the sentencing judge in court, and are produced by editing the 
original transcript for grammatical errors.
2. 
Written sentencing remarks can be accessed on the eCourts portal by: 
(a)
going to the eCourts Portal home page;
(b)
clicking on the 'decisions' tab; 
(c)
on the 'decisions' page, selecting the jurisdiction 'Supreme 
Court' from the drop down list; and 
(d)
clicking on the decision type 'sentencing remarks'. 
3. Written sentencing remarks are available on the eCourts portal for 28 
days.
4. If the written sentencing remarks are not available on the eCourts Portal, 
an application for a copy of the transcript of the oral sentencing remarks 
may be made to the Principal Registrar. The application may be made 
by letter or email addressed to the associate to the Principal Registrar

The original transcript will include a standard notation, 'Remarks on 
sentence delivered', in the same way as the transcript of an oral 
judgment includes a standard notation, 'Judgment delivered'.
