Abstract. 
Carried out researches show that the formation of the properties of nanoparticles and nanomaterials composed of 
them leads to different results. It has been determined that the mechanical properties of the material are related to the structure 
associated with their production methods.
It was found that the mechanical properties of nanomaterials after plastic deformation are fundamentally different from those 
of metals and alloys. The fragmentation of the structure as a result of the effect of intensive plastic deformation creates qualities with 
high strength and plasticity. After 16-fold rectangular deformation on copper nanoparticles, the strength of the material raises to a 
maximum, at the same time the plasticity increases significantly.
