CONCLUSION 

As  a  result  of  the  conducted  studies  of  the  influence  of  the  shadow  economy  on  the  level  of 

economic security of the state, it was  revealed that the shadow economy has a negative impact 

on it to a large extent.

A distinctive feature of the shadow economy is its close intertwining with the formal economy 

due to the presence of identical sets of mechanisms such as: pricing rules, investment, methods 

of negotiating and observing contracts, etc.
