ABSTRACT 

The  features  of  modelling  the  wear  of  the  upper  piston  compression  ring  of  an  internal 

combustion engine, taking into account its displacements and vibrations in the piston groove of 

the  internal  combustion  engine,  are  considered,  and  a  method  is  proposed  for  the  estimated 

calculation of the piston ring for its resource.
