Model Answer 1:
Everyone wants a very good score in the examination. But if they cannot get 
the desired score, they feel unhappy. It is quite natural. The similar thing 
happened with me. I was unhappy with my academic scores. In the last 
semester of my academic career, I could not get the desired score and it was 
really an unhappy event for me. Thank you for the question, and I will describe 
it now.
It was the end of 2015 when I appeared in the semester final examination of 
my undergraduate level at Texas State University. But the score was not up to 
the mark and it was unusual to me. I was unable to cross even the range of 
CGPA 3.00 in the final semester. As a business undergraduate, it was a shame 
for me. Though I had some troubles regarding the understanding of some of 
the courses and mathematics, I was really disappointed with me and my score. 
My parents were displeased with me as well for the score. 
Actually, I was supposed to join at a marketing company as a marketing intern 
for their products. They asked me about a specific score against the post. 
Besides, achieving a higher score is also adorable for anyone. So, I wanted to 
have a good score for me. Accordingly, I studied but could not get the desired 
score. I do not know what happened with the scores and me. Some of my

friends told me that I might have done some mistakes. I admitted their 
opinions but still, I am confused about the semester result. I had spent a 
moderate amount of time behind my studies and thus expected a good result. 
But everything was out of my control. Later I remembered that it was my fault. 
I missed some of the questions of a course named Business Management. The 
questions were about some complex mathematical terms and their functions.
I was in Texas when the event took place. In fact, I lived alone near my 
university and worked as a part-time sales executive for a local shop to bear 
my educational and other expenses. My parents lived in another state. Despite 
being solvent enough to bear my expense from family, I choose to bear the 
expense by my own. But I had a close contact with them always. They had 
some idea that their son is spoilt and wastes time with buddies more than 
studying. But their ideas were not true. And it was a challenge for me to make 
them understand that I was not wasting my times after any unnecessary 
activities other than my job. Even I did not have any girlfriend to spare time 
with. But the undesired CGPA indicated everything against me. I was really in 
trouble then.
I felt unhappy about the event for many reasons. First of all, I had to miss that 
internship which I was almost selected for. Moreover, I had a communication 
gap with my parents for few weeks. It appeared that I could not make a good 
score due to my insincerity and sparing time with the bad boys of the 
university. But everything was clear to them after a certain time. They knew I 
had some weakness in Mathematics and only for the issue, my score slipped to 
a great extent. Besides, I had to retake the course for improvement but the 
similar thing happened again. However, the days are gone but the feelings are 
still inside. I felt very unhappy with the unwanted score. The memory is still 
vivid on my mind.
